There is a growing effort in Colorado to protect community drinking water sources from potential contamination.

Tabernash Meadows Water and Sanitation District (TMWSD)values a clean, high quality drinking water supply and developed a source water protection plan between March and November of 2015. The development of this plan was a collaborative effort between TMWSD, Colorado Rural Water Association, and local stakeholders.
